According to its density, it can be divided into high density fiberboard, medium density fiberboard and low density fiberboard. The nominal density range of MDF fiberboard is 650Kg/m³—800Kg/m³.

Due to its uniform structure, fine material, stable performance, impact resistance, and easy processing, MDF is widely used in furniture, decoration, musical instruments, and packaging. According to usage, it can be divided into: furniture board, floor base material, door base material, electronic circuit board, engraving and milling board, waterproof board, fireproof board and line board, etc.

The format size commonly used is 1220mm*2440mm.The main thicknesses are: 1mm, 2.4mm, 2.7mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 4.7mm, 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, 30mm.
